16th Annual Challenge
24th September 2016
Welcome! - ONLINE ENTRY IS NOW CLOSED - 50 PLACES WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE DAY AT £25.00 - GO TO REGISTRATION DESK
The Hope Valley Mountain Bike Challenge has really grown in popularity. With riders able to choose between two tough off-road routes of either 14 or 28 miles around the beautiful Hope Valley and beyond, it’s both long and demanding and definitely lives up to its name as a big challenge! Is it one you are up for?? Then read on……..
The event is aimed at riders who already have off-road riding experience. The technical route(s) take in some of the area’s most iconic trails and locations such as ‘The Beast’, Jaggers Clough, Edale, Jacobs Ladder, Hayfield, Rushup Edge, Hollins Cross and Mam Tor.
It is definitely not a race. We ask that riders simply come along, enjoy themselves (hopefully without falling off!) and take up the challenge to complete the route. There is of course the additional task of consuming more calories than you burn off thanks to the delicious goodies provided at the checkpoints along the way!
Sound good? If the answer is ‘yes’, then please fill in your online form - THIS IS A VERY TECHNICAL CHALLENGE
