£25 per person for riders with advanced registration. Limited places available on day, advance booking recommended to avoid disappointment.

Due to limited rider numbers and the increasing popularity of this challenge, advance registration is now strongly advised:

  • An entry form must be downloaded, completed and signed by each rider entering the event. Along with the route map, these can not be provided on the day.
  • Form(s) must be submitted with full payment by the entry deadline.

SINGLE: You may enter and pay for an individual rider – complete section 1 (Rider Details) and section 2 (Payment Information) of the entry form.

GROUP: You may enter and pay for a group of riders – ALL riders in the group to complete section 1 (Rider Details). The ‘payer’ to complete section 2 (Payment Information). All forms returned together with payment for the group.

Entries to be received by Wednesday, 20th September 2017 - online will automatically be closed once 300 entries received

(NB. You must complete and submit an entry form even if you choose to pay online via PayPal).

PayPal – please use the PayPal payment facility on the event website. (Please print a copy of the receipt/voucher emailed to you by PayPal and bring this with you. This is your proof of purchase and you may need to provide it in the event of any queries. If you do not have the receipt, you will be asked for some other form of ID and confirmation of the email address used to purchase your ticket(s)).


Entry is confirmed via the website and via paypal receipt of payment THIS WILL SHOW HVMBC(followed by number ) this is your RIDER NUMBER

You will NOT receive written confirmation.

Hope Valley College is situated on the Castleton Road (A6187) in Hope, S33 6SD. There will be plenty of parking available.

Bacon Butties for sale from 7am, registration 8am-9am. Please collect your rider number at Hope Valley College between 8.00am and 9.00am.  Some maps will be available and you will be directed to the location of the start which takes place at 9.30am a short distance from the College. Maps are NOT available on the day so please remember to download your map beforehand.

The Organisers do NOT provide personal Accident Insurance. It is incumbent upon cyclists to provide their own insurance at their discretion. Your signature on the entry form confirms your acceptance of these conditions of entry. If during the event you are involved in an incident with a third party please ensure that you pass on all your details – it is not the responsibility of the event organisers.

  • All cyclists must abide by the Highway and Countryside codes
  • Minimum age for entry is 17
  • You MUST wear a helmet
  • You MUST visit every checkpoint
  • It is a CHALLENGE not a race
  • Marshals are situated throughout the route and must be obeyed at all times
  • Bikes must be in good working order
  • Entrants must carry adequate spares: puncture repair kit/first aid
  • Any entrant who retires during the race must report to a marshal or challenge official
